Ambassador Business Tours The Christian Embassy helps organize business tours for ambassadors to various parts of Canada with the help of interested business people who wish to promote international cooperation and investment.
By participating in these tours, ambassadors expand their network of Canadian contacts and promote business and economic opportunities in their nations. They also receive first-hand exposure to some of the latest innovations Canada is using in the agriculture, energy, high-tech, education, natural resources and manufacturing sectors.
In each city, the Christian Embassy works with a committee of interested business leaders to organize the tour. This team plans tours of various business and educational establishments in their region. They may also include meetings with city and government officials. During the course of the tour, ambassadors may choose to stay in the homes of Canadian business executives. They also have the opportunity to present opportunities in their country to members of the business community during a breakfast, lunch or dinner sponsored by the organizing committee. As of June 2010, 132 ambassadors and high commissioners representing 86 different nations have participated in our tours.
